Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Niles, IL. As a contract SLP, you will work with middle school students to evaluate and address their speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students referred for speech and language services to identify areas of need and develop personalized plans.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to support students with speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other school staff to ensure effective communication and support for students.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records for all students on your caseload.
  • Provide regular progress reports to parents and guardians.
  • Organize and manage student caseloads, including scheduling and record-keeping.
  • Develop and implement materials and resources to support speech and language development.

Requirements:

  • Illinois SLP license
  • Professional Educators License from the Illinois Board of Education

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with middle school students
  • Knowledge of Illinois Special Education guidelines and best practices for SLPs
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
