Position: Software Quality Assurance Specialist

Core Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for crafting and implementing structured testing strategies to guarantee the release of high-quality software solutions. Engaged in test strategy formulation, test case development, automation of test cases, and execution of tests.
  • Establishes and monitors quality assurance metrics such as bug counts, test outcomes, and testing progress. Gathers and evaluates data for software process assessment and enhancements, integrating findings into operational workflows to meet organizational requirements.
  • Records all issues and aids in their resolution. Provides quality process training to technical personnel and serves as an internal quality advisor to guide or influence business or technical stakeholders.
  • Conducts quality assessments across various IT domains to ensure adherence to quality standards, procedures, and methodologies.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Alternatively, equivalent professional experience.

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in systems development, testing, and/or business operations.

Role Complexity:

  • Intermediate professional level position. Engages in projects of moderate to high complexity across one or more development platforms.
  • Participates in multiple programs/systems as a team member. Recognized as a subject matter expert for a specific program/system.
  • May mentor junior technical staff.
