Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Professional to join our team at Mountain Communities Healthcare District, a small rural hospital located in a remote area. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $85,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic procedures using various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, and fluoroscopy.
  • Position patients correctly and safely for optimal image quality.
  • Use shielding and other safety measures to minimize radiation exposure.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiology program with an Associate of Science degree.
  • Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist licensure (CRT).
  • Preferred: American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification.
  • Two years of experience in an acute care setting or equivalent experience in a freestanding diagnostic imaging facility.
