Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Hospital Sisters Health Systems (HSHS). As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and developing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program and licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois or Wisconsin.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, depending on the patient population.
  • Experience in critical care nursing, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending.
