Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to citizens, defendants, and their families through various communication channels.
- Prepare and manage court cases, including drafting legal documents such as judgments, orders, and subpoenas.
- Maintain accurate records in the court case management system and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
- Process payments and manage public funds with strict adherence to established procedures.
- Assist with the intake of court documents and provide guidance on court procedures to the public.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Collaborate with legal professionals, including Prosecutors and Judges, to facilitate case processing.
- Monitor community service hours and verify insurance coverage as part of case management.
- Act as a liaison between juveniles, their families, and diversion programs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and programs within the Municipal Court.
- Prepare statistical reports and correspondence for the Court Administrator.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of three years in Municipal Court procedures, two years in customer service, and one year in data entry.
- Certifications: Certified Court Clerk II and a valid Texas Driver's License are required.
- Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish.
