Job Summary

As a Security Gate Guard at RJW Logistics, you will play a critical role in ensuring the secure and efficient movement of trailers in and out of our warehouse. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Control access to the warehouse by monitoring and recording all entries and exits.
  • Conduct regular inspections of gates, doors, and fences to ensure they are secure.
  • Maintain accurate records of all cargo inspections and movements.
  • Communicate effectively with other security personnel, management, and other departments to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Report any incidents or suspicious activity to management immediately.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of clerical experience preferred.
  • Ability to work irregular shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Private vehicle essential for job requirements.
Working Conditions

The Security Gate Guard will work in an outdoor environment, exposed to various weather conditions. The position requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and to stand for long periods. The employee must also be able to communicate clearly over telephones and have good cognitive skills to maintain work accuracy and concentration.
