Upson Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Geriatric Psychiatric Unit as a RN Nights. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our geriatric patients while promoting a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient conditions.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring efficient and effective care delivery.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and promote continuity.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Currently licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
