Key Responsibilities
  • Identify platform requirements and match them against existing data link and communication system capabilities
  • Investigate material solutions to determine if they meet requirements
  • Perform evaluations on new material solutions to meet evolving mission requirements
  • Act as frequency spectrum manager
  • Track and validate modification status of fixed-wing aircraft
  • Support sensor integration activities for fixed-wing aircraft
  • Coordinate Airworthiness Release (AWR) activities between the Fixed Wing Project Office, Army Airworthiness authority, and other applicable organizations
Requirements
  • Understanding of existing data link systems and capabilities (COMMS/Data Link)
  • Ability to communicate technical and programmatic issues to leadership
  • US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with integration of aviation communications, data links, and sensors (e.g., Link-16, Comms, SAR, ELINT, COMMINT)
  • Knowledge of Army ISR sensors and Process, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) pathways
  • TS/SCI Clearance
Clearance and Eligibility

Applicants must have a current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI. Selected applicants may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
