About the role of Occupational Therapist at Sky View Rehabilitation and Health Care



**Job Summary:**



We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at Sky View Rehabilitation and Health Care, a 192-bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in New York. As an Occupational Therapist at our facility, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their highest level of physical, mental, and social well-being.



**Key Responsibilities:*




  • Plan, develop, and implement occupational therapy services in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.
  • Assess residents' physical, mental, and social abilities to develop individualized therapy plans.
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and maintain treatment records, resident files, and progress notes.
  • Participate in discharge planning and development of resident care plans.
  • Interpret and instruct in occupational therapy policies and procedures to personnel, residents, and family members.


**Requirements:*




  • Current license and registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the State of New York.
  • Current malpractice insurance and a license in good standing.
  • Dedicated to providing compassionate care and committed to quality care.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
