Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient care and satisfaction
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care
  • Collaborate with physicians, other departments, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Monitor and analyze patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field
  • 5 years of experience in emergency nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Current RN licensure in New Mexico or eligibility for licensure
  • Advanced life support certifications (e.g. ACLS, PALS)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Working Conditions

This is a medium work position, requiring the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with exposure to chemicals and hazardous equipment.
