The primary focus is to uphold a professional demeanor while ensuring the maintenance of all facilities and equipment.
Ideal candidates will possess prior experience in a manufacturing setting and have a solid mechanical foundation. The ability to diagnose and rectify basic equipment failures is essential. Pic The Gift specializes in the production of personalized gifts, employing sublimation printing techniques to enhance a variety of products.Key Responsibilities:
- Address all facility maintenance requests from supervisors, adhering to established protocols.
- Schedule and execute routine preventive maintenance on all building systems, including roofs, safety systems, and equipment.
- Prioritize and organize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- Maintain necessary equipment and supplies for departmental functions.
- Collaborate with other department leaders, engage in management discussions, and propose improvements to align with company objectives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree or relevant experience is preferred.
- Candidates should embody traits such as integrity, kindness, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
Skills and Competencies:
- Familiarity with equipment such as heat tunnels, conveyor systems, and hydraulic lifts.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of electrical schematics and troubleshooting.
- General knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics and air compressors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to adapt resources in response to varying business demands.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Capacity to stand for extended periods.
