About the Role

Catholic Health Service is seeking a highly skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our team at St. Francis Hospital, The Heart Center. As a member of our cardiac rehabilitation team, you will play a critical role in helping patients recover from heart-related illnesses and conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs
  • Conduct assessments and provide health education on cardiovascular disease risk factor reduction and lifestyle management
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
  • Master's degree in physical education or exercise physiology
  • Completed internship in cardiac rehab with a minimum of 400 hours of experience
  • ECG interpretation skills and experience in clinical research in fitness and cardiac rehab
  • 6 months of experience in exercise testing and leadership in cardiac rehab
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • ACSM certified exercise test technologist or equivalent experience
