Your Role in Diagnostic Imaging

As a Radiologic Technologist at Lakeview Hospital, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. Your expertise in operating x-ray equipment, protocols, and procedures will ensure that our patients receive accurate and timely diagnoses.

Your Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain x-ray equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Explain procedures to patients and families, addressing their concerns and easing anxiety.
  • Recognize and respond to clinical and emergent problems that may interfere with exams.
  • Evaluate critical test findings and review anatomic details and abnormalities with radiologists.
  • Maintain supply levels and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
  • Input and verify data in PACS/RADIANT.
  • Ensure a safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to quality control checks.
  • Contribute to the team by assisting others without being asked.
Requirements
  • ARRT and CPR certification.
  • State of Louisiana Radiology Technologist license.
  • Three to five years of radiology experience (preferred).
