Role Impact:

This position is crucial for fostering teamwork and accountability in maintaining safe and high-quality production standards. It is a hands-on leadership role that demands a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise team members across various production lines.
  • Collaborate with site management to develop and implement daily production plans.
  • Conduct daily team meetings to relay production goals and company initiatives.
  • Participate in performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development for team members.
  • Take charge of team dynamics by engaging in the promotion and training of team members.
  • Perform daily quality audits to ensure product standards are met.
  • Enforce safety and quality protocols by reporting incidents and participating in corrective actions.
  • Manage equipment needs by promptly reporting any issues to maintenance.
  • Work alongside other supervisors and departments as necessary.
  • Assess and report on daily production metrics and deviations from the production plan.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional college education is a plus.
  • Passion for servant leadership with experience in a supervisory role, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Experience in the chemical industry or familiarity with safety procedures is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication abilities with peers and team members.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills with the ability to make urgent decisions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as OneDrive, Word, Teams, and Excel.
  • Commitment to safety and accountability for team safety practices.
  • Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands, and reach with arms.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Must obtain respirator certification and wear a full-face respirator as required.

Work Environment:

Industrial warehouse setting – non-climate controlled.
