About the Job

As a Hospital Custodian, you will be responsible for performing a variety of environmental services duties under the direction of leadership. This will include complete cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms, corridors, public areas, offices, and other designated spaces, as well as the changing of cubicle curtains. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to maintain a high level of cleanliness and adhere to infection control protocols.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily cleaning, room turnover cleaning, and terminal cleaning of specialty areas, including but not limited to the Emergency Department, Operating Rooms, LDRP, NICU, CCN, WETU.
  • Maintain high levels of flexibility, organization, and prioritization of work.
  • Interact with patients, family, and caregivers in a positive and professional manner.
  • Work in a team environment, collaborating with co-workers and unit staff.
