About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at the University of Virginia, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking experienced nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and are committed to teamwork and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room, including circulating and scrubbing in multiple surgical services
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient education and care
- Contribute to a culture of safety and quality improvement in the Operating Room
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Operating Room, with a focus on circulating and scrubbing
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
