Aureus Medical Group - Therapy is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team for a 15-week travel assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. As a travel Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your clinical skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist occupational therapists in the implementation of treatment plans for patients with physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement treatment plans under the supervision of an occupational therapist, including exercises, activities, and interventions to promote patient independence and functional ability.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records of treatment sessions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure in North Carolina.
  • Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting preferred.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift 50-100 pounds.
