Role Overview
The 340B Pharmacy Program Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing Adelante's 340B drug pricing initiative. This position serves as the primary authority on the program, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements and acting as a liaison for any matters related to the 340B program. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with federal regulations, managing projects, developing processes to uphold legal standards, and formulating necessary policies and procedures.
Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician
- 340B ACE certification
- A minimum of two years of supervisory experience
- Two to three years of experience in a healthcare or pharmacy environment
- Proficient knowledge in purchasing, inventory management, distribution, and cost analysis
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel
- Certification in CPR and AED for Healthcare Professionals
- Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety
Daily Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for the 340B program
- Monitor staff performance, manage work activities, and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Lead the 340B program committee with representatives from various departments
- Stay informed on policies affecting the 340B program, including HRSA/OPA regulations
- Ensure ongoing compliance with all federal regulations related to the 340B program
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures in line with state and federal requirements
- Create training materials for the 340B program
- Oversee the annual HRSA recertification process and maintain accurate records
- Conduct self-audits of the 340B program and manage external audit processes
- Address and resolve pharmacy billing issues, ensuring proper system checks
- Collaborate with the finance department to track revenue and expenses related to the 340B program
- Work with the Credentialing team and external Pharmacy Data Informatics to maintain updated provider lists
