Micro Assembler

At Power Device Corporation, we are seeking a skilled Micro Assembler to join our team in Bohemia, NY. As a Micro Assembler, you will play a critical role in the design and manufacture of high-reliability Connectivity, Power, and Control solutions for the Aerospace, Defense, and Space industries.

• Perform complex assembly operations under a microscope with minimal supervision.
• Execute die bonding, wire bonding, header assembly, or other operations of comparable difficulty.
• Utilize small hand tools and microscope to ensure precision and accuracy.
• Read and interpret complex assembly drawings and documents to determine sequence of operation and proper assembly procedures.
• Contribute to meeting department production goals and objectives.
• Demonstrate detailed knowledge of automatic or manual wire bonding and die bonding machines.
• Read and follow operational sheets to ensure compliance with established procedures.

• Work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Cross-train to develop skills and expertise.
• Determine priorities and allocate resources effectively.

• Approximately 3 years of micro assembly or related experience.
• Good eyesight and manual dexterity.
• Ability to read and interpret complex assembly drawings.
