Bank Teller

Farmers and Merchants State Bank is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bank Teller to join our team. As a Bank Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing financial transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

• Manage customer accounts, including check cashing, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments
• Provide information on new products and services, and direct customers to branch representatives as needed
• Reconcile cash drawers, count and package coins and currency, and turn in any excess or damaged currency to the head teller
• Track, record, report, and store transactional information and special requests
• Provide a high level of customer service, answering questions and assisting with a smile

• High school diploma or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Basic math and computer skills
• Cash-handling experience
• Excellent communication, customer service, and time-management skills
• Ability to pass a background check
• Strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency

• Valid Driver's License
• Notary Public Commission

This position is scheduled to work Monday - Saturday, generally with a day off and/or occasional extended hours as needed to accommodate the flow of business. Non-Exempt/Hourly Competencies:
