Culinary Professional

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Hamburg Gaming in Hamburg, New York. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, and upholding the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items to meet the needs of our guests
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including utensils, equipment, and storage areas
• Ensure proper food temperatures are maintained, and food is stored correctly
• Monitor and control food waste, and maintain accurate records
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties, and participate in end-of-day inventory

• At least 1 year of previous experience in a back-of-the-house foodservice position
• Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes
• Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more, and stand and walk for extended periods
