Job Summary

The Batch Plant Operator will play a critical role in the production of high-quality concrete products at Oldcastle Infrastructure. This position requires a strong understanding of concrete fundamentals and experience operating batch plants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain batch plants and mixer machines to ensure efficient and safe production of concrete products.
  • Monitor and control the quality of concrete products, identifying and addressing any inconsistencies or abnormalities.
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth production operations.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of concrete fundamentals and production processes.
  • Experience operating batch plants and mixer machines, preferably with Command Alkon.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
