Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing plans to address these issues.
  • Provide public health screening and monitoring, including TB, flu, and other health-related services.
  • Coordinate paperwork and staff response for emergency personnel calls, ensuring timely and effective care.
  • Triage patients in the clinic waiting room, determining appropriate access to care and developing preliminary medical and social assessments.
  • Provide quality assurance through random and standardized checking of medication administration forms and cassettes.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to develop and implement treatment plans, taking doctor orders and maintaining accurate medical records.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in nursing (Bachelor's preferred) with a minimum of two years of related experience.
  • Applied knowledge of medical and nursing terminology, as well as nursing practices and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, promoting health and wellness to all individuals served.
