JOB OBJECTIVE
The Refrigeration Project Supervisor is tasked with overseeing a team of technicians to facilitate EPA-required refrigerant upgrades, ensuring exceptional service delivery to our business partners in this sector.

This role involves mentoring, guiding, and providing practical training for team members to effectively achieve the objectives and service standards set for the group.

This position is a hands-on supervisory role.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Clearly communicate ongoing project activities to field personnel and site supervisors.
  • Ensure field personnel adhere to a proactive approach for maintenance and repairs.
  • Require field personnel to provide updates on current job tasks.
  • Ensure field personnel complete assignments on time.
  • Assist in troubleshooting by offering advanced support to field personnel.
  • Prepare project scopes, order necessary parts, and develop schedules.
  • Coordinate with all vendors and suppliers to ensure a successful retrofit process.
  • Maintain accurate records and update the system as changes occur.
  • Manage recovery cylinders post-retrofit and allocate them to the Refrigerant Bank.
  • Communicate and collaborate with store management.
  • Travel is required up to 85%, with a schedule that may include four ten-hour overnight shifts, subject to change.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Journeyman certification in refrigeration and HVAC or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred previous supervisory experience.
  • EPA Certification.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of supermarket rack refrigeration systems, electrical HVAC, and plumbing systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities.
  • Capability to act as a subject matter expert and effective problem solver.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Refrigeration Controller Technology, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite.
