Job Summary

Bride Brook Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and services to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living, vital signs, and monitoring food and liquid intake.
  • Deliver meal trays to residents, ensuring food is appropriate to their care plan and providing a positive dining experience.
  • Escort residents to participate in therapy sessions and activities, responding to resident and family needs respectfully and with a positive manner.
  • Complete assignments, including reporting data in resident records, consistently, accurately, and in a timely manner.
  • Comply with procedures for infection prevention, safety rules, and requirements, including hand washing, TB and Hepatitis B requirements, and bloodborne pathogen regulations.
Requirements
  • Must hold an active Connecticut Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, cooperating and working well with co-workers.
  • Ability to complete education requirements on a timely basis.
