About the Baytown Complex
Baytown, Texas, with a population exceeding 77,000, is situated in the Gulf Coast region of the United States, just east of Houston. Residents and workers in Baytown enjoy a rich historical backdrop and numerous outdoor activities due to its proximity to beautiful waterways, including Galveston Bay, the San Jacinto River, and Buffalo Bayou.
Established in 1919, ExxonMobil's Baytown Complex spans approximately 3,400 acres along the Houston Ship Channel, about 25 miles east of Houston. With a workforce of over 8,500, it consists of four manufacturing sites, including one in Mont Belvieu, and a global technology center.
