Riverview Lutheran Retirement Community is seeking a skilled Medical Technician to join our team. As a Medical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Complete all daily medication passes accurately and in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care, including assisting residents with activities of daily living, under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
  • Assist with delegated activities of the nursing plan, transportation, and clerical tasks to support the efficient operation of the facility.
  • Collaborate with nursing team to implement patient care plans, maintain accurate records, patient documentation, admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
Qualifications:
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a current/active license in the state of Washington at the time of application.
  • CPR and First Aid certified at the time of hire or within 30 days of hire (class provided).
  • Washington State Food Handler's permit at the time of hire and maintained while employed.
  • Previous experience in an assisted living or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate empathy and compassion towards residents.
  • Commitment to upholding professional standards and complying with regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to communicate verbally & in writing, in English.
