MDFR Specialist

Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a highly skilled MDFR Specialist to join our team. As an MDFR Specialist, you will play a critical role in representing our organization and providing exceptional services to our clients.

• Deliver MDFR services to clients in various settings, including DCF, client homes, and community locations.
• Participate in DCF case consultation and service planning meetings to ensure seamless coordination of care.
• Work with Hispanic youth and families, utilizing your expertise in the substance use field to provide culturally sensitive services.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, with several years of experience working in the substance use treatment field.
• Ability to become fully certified as an MDFR Specialist within 9-12 months.
• Participate in ongoing quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality services.
• Compliance with current State of Connecticut and federal health and vaccine requirements.
• Annual Conflict of Interest training.

• Demonstrated knowledge of engagement services, substance use, mental health services, and community resources.
• Experience with and understanding of recovery and the stages of change.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, safe driving record, and willingness to transport clients.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work on multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office Package and internet proficiency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
