About the Role:

The Cook is a vital member of our culinary team at Hopedale Medical Complex, responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality food to our patients and residents. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of hot and cold food items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events.
  • Ensure food is prepared according to nutritional needs and dietary requirements.
  • Maintain high standards of kitchen sanitation and safety.
  • Assist with set-up, service, and clean-up of food production.
  • Ensure food temperatures are maintained at proper levels at preparation and throughout service.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques.
  • Food handlers license preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to read and follow recipes unsupervised.
  • Working knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including rotating weekends and holidays.

Compensation: 16-19 Hourly Wage
