Job Overview

WeDriveU is seeking a skilled Transit CDL Driver to join our team in Durham, NC. As a Transit CDL Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation services to passengers while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate company vehicles, including sedans, vans, paratransit vans, limousines, taxi-cabs, shuttles, transit buses, school buses, and/or motor coaches, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Report any maintenance problems to the maintenance team and do not operate an unsafe vehicle.
  • Adhere to company procedures and policies, including reporting accidents or incidents, exercising passenger management, and maintaining a clean and presentable vehicle.
  • Provide individualized assistance and accommodations to senior and disabled passengers as needed.
  • Meet physical and medical requirements, pass substance abuse screening, and complete all required training and safety meetings.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age (25 years of age for Tennessee School Bus Drivers).
  • Must possess or be able to obtain all valid applicable state licenses and certifications to operate company vehicles.
  • Must have a high degree of attention and considerable dexterity in the control of vehicles.
  • Must practice defensive driving at all times and avoid vehicular and industrial accidents.
