Responsibilities
  • Examine and assess patients' conditions to determine the best therapeutic modality for their current condition.
  • Perform therapeutic massage modalities to help patients recover from pain and injuries.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed chart notes, adhering to HIPAA compliance.
  • Assist patients with stretches, exercises, and core strengthening techniques to improve their condition.
  • Provide a positive and hands-on experience for patients, ideally 60 minutes of hands-on work.
  • Ensure proper cleanliness and disinfection of the massage room before and after patient visits.
  • Maintain inventory of massage supplies and communicate with the office manager as needed.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited massage therapy program.
  • Licensure from the Oregon Board of Massage Therapists.
  • Thorough knowledge of massage techniques and modalities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a medical setting.
