SJS Executives, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is seeking a skilled Drafter to support construction operations within a local healthcare facility. As a Drafter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Combine Site and Building As-Builts: Merge existing site and building As-Builts with new project As-Builts to create a comprehensive record drawing set.
  • Prepare Civil-Structural Plans: Develop detailed drawings for above-grade support structures and below-grade foundation details.
  • Validate and Correct As-Builts: Collaborate with in-house Drafters to verify and correct existing As-Builts.
  • Perform Drawing and Field Verifications: Ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings and field verifications.
  • Implement Structural Design Information: Apply engineering design information from Engineers to construction projects.
  • Ensure Project Schedule Adherence: Monitor and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Read and Apply Standard Documents: Interpret and apply standard documents affecting construction projects, including agreements, contracts, work letters, project charters, surveys, and drawings.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of a college drafting curriculum with a minimum two-year degree.
  • Experience: At least five years of experience performing drafting for design and construction projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoDesk systems, including AutoCAD and REVIT.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge: Full knowledge of engineering and architectural concepts, principles, and practices for the design, layout, and construction of medical facilities, associated buildings, parking, roadways, and site utilities.
  • ADA Compliance: Experience with ADA compliant construction, remodeling, and renovations.
  • Certifications: Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and a thorough background check for access onto a military installation.
