About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Production Composite Craftsman to join our team at McClarin Composites. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our composite materials and contributing to the success of our company.

Your primary duties will include cleaning and preparing molds for lamination or vacuum infusion process, reviewing blueprints and work instructions to ensure all steps are followed, and mixing portions and pouring resin/catalyst according to product specifications. You will also be responsible for inspecting product during and after application process, ensuring proper thickness and completing any associated forms/checklists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and preparing molds for lamination or vacuum infusion process.
  • Reviewing blueprints and work instructions to ensure all steps are followed.
  • Mixing portions and pouring resin/catalyst according to product specifications.
  • Preparing, initiating, and monitoring vacuum cure and/or infusion process.
  • Inspecting product during and after application process, ensuring proper thickness and completing any associated forms/checklists.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • At least two years of progressive experience working with composite materials.
  • Advanced proficiency with composite tools and techniques, such as Vacuum infusion, Prepreg, and wet lay-up.
  • CCT Certifications a plus.

Compensation:$65,000 - $75,000 per annum based on experience.
