Staff Technical Project Manager and Scrum Master

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the scrum team in adopting Agile methodology and scrum practices to deliver high-impact projects.
  • Organize and facilitate sprints, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings to ensure team alignment and progress.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate user story grooming, sprint planning, and review, as well as software demos.
  • Identify and remove impediments to team progress.
  • Monitor project performance and assist with risk management to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Report project status, risks, and escalations to stakeholders.
  • Work with product owners to manage backlogs and new project requests.
  • Guide and mentor the scrum team to achieve higher levels of scrum maturity.
  • Provide strategic guidance to cross-functional teams and manage program risks and dependencies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of combined Scrum Master and People Leadership experience.
  • Solid technical background with familiarity or experience in software development, cloud, and web technologies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed software development teams.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms, Business Applications, and SAP.
  • Scrum Master certification is a plus.
  • PMP certification is a plus.

This role is eligible for bonus, equity, and a generous benefits package. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate skill, experience, expertise, and location. Compensation may vary from the amount listed above. The base cash compensation for this California-based role is below.

San Francisco Bay Area Pay Range: $159,000-$208,872 USD
