Job Summary

As a Radiologic Technologist at United Musculoskeletal Partners, you will be responsible for performing quality diagnostic orthopedic X-Rays for our ordering providers. Your primary focus will be on ensuring patient safety and privacy while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Perform X-rays ordered by providers

Maintain proper use of X-ray equipment, CR, DR, and PACS

Communicate with X-ray supervisor or director with any concerns or operational questions/problems

Establish a professional relationship with physicians, co-workers, and clinical staff

Teach X-ray students how to perform X-rays, patient care, and workflow in the clinical X-ray setting

Requirements

Licensed Radiologic Technologist or registry eligible

Strong customer service ethic

Current certification in CPR encouraged

Knowledge of basic computer skills

Familiar with orthopedic X-rays in a clinical setting

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to risk of infectious diseases when interacting with patients and/or family members. The employee may be occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
