Position Summary:
Kalitta Turbines specializes in the maintenance, servicing, and repair of TFE731 and CF34 engines. Our skilled workforce is committed to delivering exceptional service quality to our clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disassemble, clean, and evaluate engine components in accordance with Manufacturer's Manuals.
- Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting OEM Manuals and utilizing precision measuring instruments.
- Execute repair procedures on TFE731 and CF34 engine parts.
- Complete inspection documentation and manage the routing of parts for TFE731 and CF34 engines, including re-coating, stripping, non-destructive testing (NDT), and balancing.
- Maintain clear and legible handwriting for documentation purposes.
- Possess basic computer skills.
- Exhibit the ability to multi-task, uphold confidentiality, maintain a service-oriented approach, and demonstrate trustworthiness and ethical behavior. Sensitivity and respect for diverse populations and cultures are essential. The ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage challenging situations with a positive attitude is required.
- Conduct receiving inspections for new and ongoing service parts to verify serviceability, which includes confirming certification from manufacturers or overhaul facilities and checking for shipping damage.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant FAA regulations.
- Oversee the proper rework of discrepancies by assessing the work performed by shop mechanics and technicians.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Inspection Supervisor or Senior Inspector.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience in turbine operations.
- A minimum of 1 year of diverse maintenance experience is required.
- A Powerplant License is necessary; an Airframe and Powerplant License is preferred.
- Availability for full-time work and willingness to work overtime as needed.
