Job Overview

Position Summary:
The Laborer will report directly to the Team Leader and play a crucial role in preparing vehicles for salvage operations using mobile crushing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort various types of metals according to their properties.
  • Utilize a torch for metal cutting tasks.
  • Operate different machinery, including forklifts.
  • Perform shoveling duties as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the worksite.
  • Assist in loading and unloading vehicles.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Support other operational tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Knowledge of metals is considered an asset.
  • Experience operating a forklift or possession of a valid forklift license is advantageous.
  • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment.
  • Familiarity with computers and Microsoft Office is beneficial.

  • Strong health and safety awareness.
  • Good physical fitness.
  • Resourcefulness in problem-solving.
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
