About Us
We are a 404-bed tertiary care hospital accredited by the Joint Commission and designated as a Level II Trauma Center. Our hospital is affiliated with the UCF College of Medicine, providing opportunities for medical education and research. Our comprehensive range of services includes Emergency Care, Trauma Care, Pediatric ER, Heart & Vascular Institute, and Comprehensive Stroke Center, among others.
Your Role
As a Physiotherapy Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to assist licensed physical therapists in the practice of Physical Therapy. You will perform treatments designed to restore function, prevent disability, and relieve pain according to treatment plans established by licensed physical therapists. Your expertise and dedication will play a critical role in helping patients recover from injuries or illnesses.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess a Florida Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) and an Associate in Science (A.S.) degree or Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program. Additionally, you must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
