Project Description:

We are seeking an Experienced Designer to join our Water Resources team at Olsson, working on complex projects that require the application of standardized techniques.

Salary Estimate: $90,000 - $130,000 per year, based on location and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed design work on projects, including preparation of drawings and layouts, reviewing project specifications, and performing design calculations.
  • Conduct research on various design concepts and techniques, developing approaches to enhance project design work.
  • Review drawings, prepare project cost estimates, and attend client meetings.
  • Maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and project correspondence.
  • Assist in the preparation of environmental impact studies or other project-related studies.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and review work for less experienced staff members.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Associate's degree in drafting or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
