Job SummaryWe are seeking a Sales Associate to join our team at Westlake Ace Hardware. As a Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with receiving, stocking, and pricing merchandise.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a positive representation of Westlake Ace Hardware to customers
- Assist customers in solving problems and answer questions about products
- Greet customers entering and throughout the store, thank them when finished, and when they are leaving
- Ensure all pages and calls are answered promptly, courteously, and effectively
- Forward any customer complaint that cannot be handled to a member of management
- Assist with receiving, checking in, and stocking merchandise throughout the store
- Assist with maintaining back stock levels and daily maintenance, orderliness, and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room, and outdoor merchandise area
- Operate a forklift with proper training
- Communicate any Store Support Center issue to General Manager for follow-up
- Participate in store meetings and be professional in appearance and actions
- High School or GED equivalent
- Formal retail experience preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 25lbs), and climb
$18.10-$18.40/hour
