Key Responsibilities:
- Drive problem-solving initiatives related to customer feedback using methodologies such as 8D, Kaizen, and Six Sigma, aimed at identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive measures.
- Oversee the development and execution of PFMEA, process control plans, and poka-yoke strategies.
- Utilize Schneider Performance System methodologies to foster continuous improvement, impacting metrics such as customer returns, scrap rates, and throughput efficiency.
- Actively participate in Short Interval Management, showcasing leadership, effective communication, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
- Engage with external clients regarding product issues, managing investigations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate extensively with product experts, manufacturing personnel, and corporate engineering and quality teams.
- Support the introduction of new products and supplier development initiatives related to manufacturing components.
- Supervise a team of 10 quality technicians, providing guidance and support across multiple shifts.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing quality or engineering roles.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools, including 8D problem-solving techniques and various statistical methods.
- Demonstrated ability to apply Lean and Six Sigma principles, with relevant certifications being highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills for data interpretation, problem resolution, and project management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- A collaborative spirit with a strong desire to engage with teams on the manufacturing floor and maintain effective customer relations.
- A quick learner capable of adapting to various roles and supporting corporate quality initiatives.
