Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues with our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components.
- Assist customers with roadside services and provide preventative maintenance services.
- Work in close quarters, lifting 75+ pounds, and moving equipment as needed.
- Ensure the safety and satisfaction of customers by complying with company safety policies and procedures.
- Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night shifts as needed.
- Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's).
