Tact Staff is currently seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Med Surg / Telemetry for an exciting opportunity.
Position Overview- Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry
- Discipline: RN
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Shift Length: 12 hours
- Employment Type: Travel
The role involves working in a 70-bed rural healthcare facility, where travelers are expected to possess a solid background in acute care and telemetry, along with the ability to care for pediatric and adolescent patients when necessary. Night shifts will include collaboration with LPNs, and RNs may be required to float to other units, including ICU, as needed. A House Supervisor will be available for support around the clock. The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1:5.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work schedule includes weekdays and every other weekend.
- Required certifications include BCLS and ACLS; PALS is preferred.
- Floating to ER and ICU may be necessary.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required, with at least 1 year in Med Surg/Telemetry.
- Ability to read telemetry strips is essential.
