Electrical Systems Specialist

Advantage Technical is seeking an Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. This role will play a critical part in the development of innovative medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, prototype, test, and troubleshoot electronic components and systems.

2. Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure products meet regulatory standards and performance specifications.

3. Execute design verification tests to validate product performance against specifications.

4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with prototypes and existing products.

5. Document test procedures, results, and any design changes in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

6. Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations for project stakeholders.

7. Maintain equipment and instruments.

8. Train and mentor junior technicians and interns as needed.

9. Participate in design reviews and contribute to project planning activities.

10. Use internal resources and qualified external vendors to assist engineering teams to identify and obtain supplies and services.

11. Act as a resource to other employees.

12. Communicate project status to project teams.

13. Assist project teams in establishing specifications and quality standards.

14. Work with a team of 5-6 engineers on different tests.

Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities:

Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

Qualifications:

AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 3 years of related experience.

Electrical background and experience

Design test verification experience

Familiarity with test setup and running tests
