Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Operate and maintain anaerobic digesters, gas conditioning skids, and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Monitor and Control Processes: Monitor and control processes to ensure safe and efficient operation of the plant, including monitoring gas production, temperatures, pressures, and fluid levels.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including valve replacement, tightening valve packing, and minor pipe/flange repairs.
  • Assist with Maintenance and Repairs: Assist with maintenance and repairs of equipment, including media change-outs, large equipment overhauls, and vacuum removal of solids from digesters.
  • Record and Analyze Data: Record and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and make recommendations to improve plant operations.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle is required.
  • Physical Demands: Will be required to regularly lift, move, and/or push objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Relevant Experience: Relevant maintenance and operating experience in an industrial or gas processing environment is desired.
  • Education and Training: Operational experience may be supplemented with military experience or training in a related field.
Working Conditions
  • Industrial Environment: Work locations are industrial, indoor, and outdoor.
  • Exposure to Hazardous Materials: Limited exposure to hazardous materials and/or toxic fumes will require the use of approved personal protective equipment.
