We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at King Soopers. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions efficiently, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling various payment methods and tenders.
  • Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures, including cash handling and security protocols.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with present, future, seasonal, and special ads to provide customers with the best possible shopping experience.
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy environment for customers and colleagues.
  • Report any pricing discrepancies or issues to the Scan Coordinator.
  • Follow established policies and procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
Requirements
  • Customer service experience, preferably in a retail or food service environment.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well with colleagues and customers.
  • Knowledge of basic math and ability to accurately handle cash and credit transactions.
