We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Progressive Oncology unit at Indiana University Health. As a nurse on this team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those with cancer, stroke, and other complex medical conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the physician.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty
