Housekeeping Aide

We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Housekeeper to join our team at Peregrine Senior Living at Guilderland. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will ensure the cleanliness and comfort of our residents’ apartments and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with regulations regarding residents’ rights and maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Clean and maintain public areas, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios, and windows.
• Sweep and vacuum all assigned areas, including resident rooms and common areas.
• Perform all housekeeping duties, following a cleaning schedule and instructions from supervisors.

Requirements:

• One-year related experience in a similar environment with on-the-job-training preferred.
• Able to operate cleaning equipment, including mangles, irons, washers, dryers, brooms, mops, and vacuums.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a necessary level.
