Truss Assembler

Boise Cascade is seeking a skilled Truss Assembler to join our team. As a Truss Assembler, you will play a critical role in the production of engineered wood products and plywood.

• Assemble trusses to customer specifications
• Work within assigned work groups to ensure efficient production
• Transfer and stage materials, assist in production of truss components, and prepare or stage completed truss materials for shipping
• Operate Mitek, web saws, and indexing conveyors to produce wood materials for truss assembly
• Assist Machine Support in verifying correct material is ready for cutting and assembly
• Maintain good housekeeping in work area and follow safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations

• High School Diploma, GED, or two years of equivalent work experience
• Ability to understand and communicate safety and other work-related instructions
• Alertness and adaptation to warehouse routines
• Understanding of OSHA regulations and ability to assist with compliance
