ROLE OF A MEDICAL SCRIBE:
A medical scribe serves as a trained documentation expert who accurately records patient encounters in real-time.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Accompany healthcare providers to meticulously document patient visits and procedures.
2. Create and verify medical records for accuracy and completeness in line with established guidelines.
3. Assist in finalizing records by transcribing outcomes from patient and provider discussions.
4. Document diagnoses, discharge instructions, prescriptions, and follow-up care.
5. Undertake additional tasks as directed by the practice manager or healthcare provider.

Qualifications:
- A genuine interest in healthcare
- Highly driven and focused on gaining experience
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and high-pressure environment
- Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous
- Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute
- Dependable and punctual
- Flexible availability for emergency department roles
- No prior experience required
